A dozen riders turned out for nearly ideal conditions last night.  Our fourth week on this course, most riders set new PR's.  Not bad, considering that many are through racing for the season and the training intensity has dropped off.  Kyle May had the fastest ride in 29:31.  And the season-long Burger-Van Arsdale feud continues.  After Burger's strong showing in the gale-force winds last week, he was accused of turning around short of the cone.  An incensed Burger was shouting obscenities as he rode away from the start.  Maybe it's just coincidence, but their fortunes were reversed last night as Chuck came home the quicker of the two.  John Maas was the raffle winner.  Earl May was unhappy with his time last week, so he brought his own timer, and it worked as he also had a PR.  Thank you from everyone to Melinda for being our timer.  And remember:  NEXT WEEK IS OUR LAST TT OF THE YEAR!  And just because we won't be time trialing on Thursdays doesn't mean we won't be riding.  With the racing season coming to an end, attendance for weekend group rides will increase.
