We had a great night last night, with 29 riders coming out for the TT under almost summer like conditions (finally). We also had a plethora of interesting rides in both distances:

Kyle May led home the 40k riders with a time of 58:01 @ 25.65mph. Eric McRae earned his 2006 sub hour shirt with a time of 59:59 at 24.81mph. Former Sullivan triathlon winner and Ironman veteran Chris Daniels came down from Bloomington for a shot at the 40k. Having an off night, he still managed a fine 1:01:22 @ 24.25mph. Chris, your sub hour shirt is neatly pressed and waiting for you next time. Mike Peer continues his climb up the 40k ladder with a new PR of 1:03:40 @ 23.37mph. Roy Tsuda also set a PR with a time of 1:06:00 @ 22.55mph. Jessica Aveyard took on the two lap painfest for the first time last night, the only female to do so, and set a time of 1:12:23 @ 20.56mph.

In 20k action, Mark Jones set fastest time with a 31:09 @ 23.88mph, followed closely by Tom Griffith with a 31:18 @ 23.77mph. Beth McClure led home the ladies, and earned a coveted pink sub 33 shirt, with a time of 32:59 @ 22.56mph. Beth came within 15 seconds of earning a shirt last year, so this one was well earned. Way to go Beth. Kristin White set a loop course PR with a time of 33:17 @ 22.35mph. Earl May set a PR with a great 33:47 @ 22.02mph. We also had three riders within three seconds of each other in the 34 minute range with John Flick, Stephan Eichenhauer, and Justin Eichenhauer setting times of 34:10, 34:11, 34:12 respectively.
