What can we say about the Zipp Demo Night, it was a success by all accounts and we had 22 PR's and a new womens record was set.  Emily Dewald came out and set a new Women's course record with a blazing fast 30:14 @ 24.61 mph.  She also road a Zipp disc with powertap hub that was provided by the folks from Powertap.  Thanks to Jesse Bartholomew for helping out.  Great job Emily!!!!!!  It should also be noted that Betty Chesser also got a PR and went under the womens record.  In the 20k division, Greg Kopecky the Sponsorship and Events coordinator from Zipp road a 27:08 @ 27.42 mph with our fastest time for the night.  Our PR's for the night were Scott Robinson 29:33 @ 25.18 mph, Betty Chesser 30:34 24.34 mph, John Oliver 31:05 @ 23.94 mph, Andrew Young 31:09 @ 23.88 mph, Chris Monroe 31:40 @ 23.49 mph, Paul Yemm 32:08 @ 23.15 mph,  Mike Hannah 32:11 @ 23.12 mph, Kevin Ryan 33:03 @ 22.51 mph, Sean Higgins 33:35 @ 22.15 mph, Tim Aydt 33:46 @ 22.03 mph, Cesar Arguelles 33:57 @ 21.91 mph, Bob Dean 34:21 @ 21.66 mph, Dave Little 35:14 @ 21.12 mph, Bruce Obringer 36:01 @ 20.66 mph, John Zierke 36:45 @ 20.24, Mike Koprek 36:55 @ 20.15 mph, Jessica Zierke 38:41 @ 19.23 mph, and Lauren Hooks 39:20 @ 19.92 mph.  Of the PR's for the 20k, 11 of them were on Zipp wheels.

In the 40k, professional triathlete and Zipp athlete TJ Tollaksen rode a 52:36 @ 28.29 mph and narrowly missed getting the course record.  Great job TJ and good luck this year on the rest of your season.  Our PR's for the 40k was Robert Brokaw 53:35 @ 27.77 mph, Kyle May 56:10 @ 26.49 mph, Mike Doyle 1:04:36 @ 23.03 mph and Rick Steward labored out a 1:07:49 @ 21.94 mph.  All of these were on Zipp wheels.  More than half of the PR's were from people who were riding Zipp wheels ranging anywhere from 404's to sub 9 disc's and 808's.  In all, we had more than 25 pair of zipp wheels and experienced 14 PR's on those wheels.

We want to thank our guests from Zipp Greg Kopecky, Scott Allen and Matt Carron.  We also want to thank our friend from PowerTap Jesse Bartholomew for supplying some PowerTap equipped wheels  and performing the after ride data for our presentaion afterwards.  Also, we can't forget to thank TJ Tollaksen for coming out and giving a great Q and A session for all the riders in attendance.  Finally we would like to thank Tony Garret from Matton Multisport for performing the timing services.  We also want to thank you for supporting the DTTS.
