No rain, but plenty of moisture as last night's TT was a hot and muggy affair. 26 riders braved the heat, and there were some surprisingly strong rides.

5 riders chose the 40k option, and I chased Sean Marling for two laps to finish with a 1:00:01 @ 24.79mph. Sean finished only 13 seconds back with a fine 1:00:14 @ 24.70mph. His run, as always, was made on a road bike with clip-ons, very impressive. We'll be handing out another sub-60 t-shirt soon. Mike Peer continues to take his time trialing to the next level, with another PR of 1:02:34 @ 23.78mph. Jessica Aveyard was the fastest and only female with a time of 1:12:38 @ 20.49mph. Clay Sayers made his debut in the 40k last night with a 1:13:45 @ 20.18mph.

In 20k action Kyle May posted a very fast time in the heat with a 29:12 @ 25.48mph. Travis Chance continues to gain speed with a loop course PR of 32:30 @ 22.89mph. We had 7 riders within 1 minute of each other in the very competitive 21-22 mph range, with P-Dawg taking this battle royale with a 33:41 @ 22.09mph. Anna Stadler was fastest of the ladies with a 35:34 @ 20.92mph. Becky Fritz also made a strong debut with a nice 36:49 @ 20.21mph.

Good luck to everyone participating in this weekend's Steelhead 1/2 Ironman in Michigan, and thanks for supporting the TT series.
