Winds out of the east added insult to injury on old 36 making for some difficult riding and resulting in some slower times. In the 40 k, we had 10 riders that braved the conditions and the distance to roar home with only 1 PR out of the bunch. Chris Monroe has continued his reign of terror in the local cycling scene with a new PR of 1:02:58 @ 23.63 mph. Great job guys, that second lap can sometimes seem like an eternity. In the 20k bunch, we had 23 riders go out and try to beat the clock with courage and determination. It would seem that the elements would conspire against these riders and allow for only 1 PR with John Galassini riding a 38:29 @ 19.33 mph. Good job guys. We did have a new rider join us with Dave Tewell coming out to see what all the fun is about. Welcome Dave, we hope you can make it out again.
